Thank you stranger....

Tuesday morning I woke up early to go work out before everything else that was going on that day. As I was waiting at a red light, a guy next to me started honking his horn and trying to say something to me. I at first thought he was crazy, but I rolled down my window to see what was going on. Apparently when I left the house I had forgotten my wallet on top of my car. :( Of course, it had flew off my car about a mile back and the guy was trying to tell me. Thankfully when I went back I was able to find everything. I had to run around Hwy 146 for about 10 minutes and it probably looked like I had lost my mind (I'm surprised somebody didn't call the police) but nothing important was lost and my credit cards are just a little scratched up now.

So thank you random Dodge truck driver. You didn't have to tell me about what happened and I would have spent the rest of the day trying to figure out where I left my wallet if it wasn't for you. It's good to know that there is still kindness out there in our sometimes crazy world.

January 14th, 2010

Last night David and I renewed our vows in the church. David grew up Catholic and it was important to him and his mother that we make it valid in the church. It was a really small ceremony with just a few people, but it meant a lot to us and I was happy to do it for David. We had it yesterday because January 14th is exactly 6 months from our wedding anniversary July 14th. I thought it was a neat idea. I have pictures, but they just haven't made it to my computer yet. :( They will make it on here soon.

It's been a while....

I haven't posted anything here for a while, I know. I had to actually look at my blog before writing this just to see what my last post was about....how sad.

Soooo, what's been going on lately?? School has been crazy (which mostly accounts for me not having time to do anything else), but that's nothing new at this point. Um...oh yes (how could I forget this one)-This past week there have been TWO houses in my neighborhood broken into! Needless to say, I've been paranoid when I'm at home by myself since I heard about it Wednesday. We have a Brinks system for our house, which I now keep activated ALL the time (and occasionally forget about, set off the alarm, and scare myself even more), but every little noise makes me jumpy now. And now according to my neighbors we need a gun....not too keen on that one yet.

And finally, I'll post a picture of Oliver because he's getting pretty big now-but he still acts like a baby as you can see.

Mmmm (without the guilt trip)

Today I found a caramel syrup that is carb, gluten, sugar, fat and CALORIE FREE!!

Oh, and the best part, it tastes good too!

But apparently the same company makes all kinds of calorie free foods like this. I couldn't believe it. Go here:
