School started again today.....

Seriously, David and I went to see it today. It's such a good movie, and this is coming from someone who doesn't like "girly movies". :)

It will touch your heart, I promise.

But don't got on an empty stomach! The food looks amazing in the movie! (Just a warning.)

Oliver Update

What was once a cute little baby chicken is now a needy "teenage" rooster (well, we think he's a rooster anyway). As you can see he spends his days digging in our flower beds...




....or crying until he let him out of his cage and hold him.

Oliver

Oliver is the name of our new baby chicken. I found him running across our front porch last Thursday morning. I thought all chicks were yellow, but apparently not. The people at Tractor Supply said that it was a 'fancy' type of chicken...whatever that means. Yes, he's very cute in pictures but he cries constantly if David and I aren't holding him or playing with him. As you can see, he's pretty curious as well.





David and I are leaving for Yellowstone this Sunday. I still have no idea where Oliver will be going until we get back.... :(

Yepez Vinyards

David and I discovered a winery about 7 minutes from our house last Thursday. It's a very small vinyard, but their wine was very good and quite reasonable. They have a live band playing there every Thursday evening so we met some of our friends there for dinner. You are allowed to bring in outside food AND they were serving WONDERFUL desserts there as well. :) It was so peaceful to sit outside with beautiful surroundings like that.

We also got a new fish. Our other pleco jumped out of his tank last week! I had no idea they even did that.... so this is Wardley (like the fish food, lol). David said he picked the smallest one he could find at the store.
