Well not really. So, I've been having stomach problems for a while now. It burns when I wake up and hurts after I eat. Ultrasound is normal, no H. Pylori, and Omeprazole (think Prilosec) doesn't work. This all lead me to going to see a specialist today. Basically he wants to do the one test that I DO NOT want done-an endoscopy. They put a tube with a camera on the end down your throat and look into your stomach and duodenum. The procedure is with sedation, but of course I had to look online and find a story where someone woke up during their exam.....I was almost begging the dr. to do any other test but this one. Finally I just made him agree to give me Lorazepam before the procedure, which causes you not to remember the procedure. The technical FDA indications say it is for "those patients in which a greater likelihood of lack of recall for preoperative events would be beneficial". I think I qualify. :) I'm having it done of February 21st.
Technically I don't have class tomorrow, but I have so much work to do for school and I'm going to be busy all day with that. Not really the break I was looking for. Oh well.
