This weekend David and I worked on the front yard. We planted some new flowers in around our trees and added three new bushes to the flower bed under the front window. :)

I love that you planted Salvia, Dusty Miller & Kalanchoe all in the same flower bed! What an array of different textures & colors! Dusty Miller (the white/silver plant) is probably one of my favorite plants of all times, it's just so unique! I think you did a great job on re-doing your flower beds! Everything looks great, and your house is gorgeous! Kurt & I are looking to move to Baytown during the summer! :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you were moving to Baytown!! That's awesome! I need someone close by to hang out with to get away from school. :) Do you have a house picked out already, or are you guys still looking?
ReplyDeleteWell, we aren't a 100% sure. We're both trying to get on with the school district there (or near by). I'm applying at La Porte too (ag teacher). Kurt doesn't have his cert but there is a wood shop teacher opening at a jr. high in baytown, so he applied. We'll see. We're crossing toes, fingers, legs, everything! :) We're still looking for homes of course, but I do have a few that I would LOVE to look at. Mostly with a couple of acres since we have a horse! I would be so happy in baytown, it's close to our good friends, family and civilization. I currently live 1 hr from Arkansas, Oklahoma & Louisiana...blah! I'll keep you posted!
